Stoney, Juan and the rest of the barbers have been a part of the Shaw community for decades, first on 9th Street and now at the location on 8th & N. They are professional and Courtney, but also warm and inviting. They make all feel welcome and the familial atmosphere will have you running back to get your haircut even when you might not necessarily need it ! Love this place!

Out here visiting D.C all the way from Santa Cruz mountains California. ...happen to pass by the place while walking to the local coffee joint.(First Cup)Decided that it is time to finally get a real hair cut after doing it myself for all these years. Stoney said...I got you:-) best hair cut I ever had! Such talent. It seems as if your hair talks to him...Great artist... Highly recommended. I only wish he was out where I live so I can become a regular customer :-)

Stoney is the real deal and greets everybody by name as they walk in. Works great with pictures/descriptions (low fade with combover for me), updates throughout process and has awesome attention to detail. The best cut I have gotten for 25! Everyone waited 15-20 minutes for their barber but really friendly community and fantastic cuts (White or Black).

Walked in today for a haircut, no appointment. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the place has a lovely neighborhood feel, with locals popping in and out just to say hi. There was a bit of a line, but it moved very quickly. I keep my hair longer than most men, so am always cautious at a new barber. The barber here was extremely thorough and maticulous, and took his time giving me the perfect cut. This was by far the most attention I ever got at a barbershop. At 30 it was much cheaper than much worse cuts I got at "trendier" shops. Would come here again for all my future cuts!

I've been to 5 different barbers in the area and this is the best looking haircut with the friendliest staff, with competitive prices. My only nit is that I wish they were more proactive about communicating to waiting customers where they are in the queue, but I'd still highly recommend!

Some haircuts costs 10 and are worth 10. Some cost 15 and are worth that. This haircut cost 25 and was worth twice that. I've never had a barber treat my hair like he was working on a piece of art. Great neighborhood barbershop, friendly. Wonderful experience, especially if you get to wait in line.
